With regard to weekly testing of staff for COVID-19, there are no positive or presumptive positive cases to report at the present time. If that should change, residents and families will be notified promptly.

As many of you already know, there has been a widespread power outage in the Capital Region since Wednesday afternoon. During this time, Ingersoll Place has been utilizing generator power for essential services. According to National Grid, restoration is anticipated by Saturday evening. In the interim, residents are being closely monitored for their comfort and safety. Meals, activities and resident care services continue without interruption.

The scheduling of patio and window visits and virtual visits are temporarily on hold until full power has been restored.

For a few of our residents, the storm and subsequent power outage have been unsettling. Extra attention and lots of TLC have helped make these past couple of days easier for them and for everyone at Ingersoll Place.
