Subject:                              Update on COVID-19 Testing

Additional results from COVID-19 testing on Tuesday, Dec. 8, have been received within the past 24 hours. Two additional residents have tested positive for a total of four. One additional staff member has tested positive for a total of three.

Although all tests were performed and sent to the laboratory on Dec. 8, results are not received in any specific order or timeframe. Based on lag times in recent weeks, it may be several days until all results have been received.

As each resident’s results are received, whether it’s negative or positive, the designated family member or other resident representative will be notified by Amber Zoller, Assistant Case Manager.

Updates will continue to be sent via email to everyone on our “Communication Distribution List” within 24 hours of receiving any new positive test results for residents and staff.

Regardless of individual test results, all infection control protocols are being utilized throughout the facility including the monitoring and reporting of symptoms, full PPE, quarantine and isolation.
