April 2, 2021
We are so pleased to announce that the brief quarantine we experienced earlier this week has been lifted. Weekly testing of employees for COVID-19, was carried out Tuesday, March 30. All staff have tested negative.
Over the course of the past few days, Ingersoll’s Executive Director Caroline Thompson has been reaching out to state and local health departments to ensure that all regulatory requirements regarding quarantine, testing and contact tracing had been met. Effective this afternoon, on-site, in-person visitation will resume as will small group activities. The dining rooms will open in time for dinner and residents may leave their apartments to visit with each other in public spaces.
To schedule on-site visits, please call the Reception Desk at 518-370-4419. Just a reminder: If you’re taking loved ones off-site, please let the Reception Desk know of your plans at least a couple of hours in advance of your arrival. This will give staff sufficient time to help residents get ready.
There are no words to express the joy at Ingersoll Place today. But a quick, impromptu happy dance says it all (see below).
To everyone, we wish a wonderful weekend and a Blessed Easter.
