ALIGN had our first virtual Annual Membership meeting on May 29, 2020. According to the feedback received, it was a success and we had a good turnout from members. The guest speakers from government were both informative and relevant as we look at relaunching services in Alberta.

QUESTION

ALIGN has been asked a few times, if the FRN will be ordering PPE the same as the CI folks do through the emergency management system? Can you let us know how to respond.
ANSWER
:
“Starting July 1, 2020, FRN agencies will not be ordering PPE the same as CI through Emergency Management. That said, there are a couple of resources for these agencies to assist them with obtaining their PPE if they cannot otherwise get it. For more information they can go to: Alberta BizConnect -
