We Strive to Love One Another
Church leadership is alert to recently updated guidance regarding the wearing of masks in indoor settings. Moorings does continue to make masks available on site for anyone who may desire one but forgot to bring one with them to the church. (Masks are located at the information kiosk in the Narthex and at the reception desk at the Moss Hall entrance.) Please note also that Moorings continues to allow for physical distancing during worship. We invite all members of our community to make decisions in light of your own individual circumstances while also being sensitive to the needs of the people around you.  If you would like to read a letter from our Presbytery leadership on this matter, please click this link. We will continue to monitor the situation and will carefully consider any changes to current practice as the situation may warrant going forward.
Mission of The Month
Helps Outreach: Please bring non-perishable food items to the church, Sunday - Friday, and leave them in the designated bins in Moss Hall. The Mission Outreach Committee will deliver items donated in August to Helps Outreach. Helps Outreach food pantry is low and in need of non-perishable foods including canned meats, vegetables, and fruits. They also need pasta, rice, canned tomato sauce, macaroni and cheese, and cereals. Needs for food assistance continue in the summer and all help is welcome and appreciated.
Invitation to Give Online
In addition to mailing in your donations to the church, we invite you to the convenience of giving online. Your options include:

  • Going to our regular giving page and using your credit card or bank account (includes recurring payment options).
  • Texting (239) 880-8068; then type the word "give" (without quotation marks) and wait for a response.

Your giving during this time is very important to maintaining our ministries.
