This Week at First Norfolk
Communion this Sunday
This weekend, we will celebrate communion together at First Norfolk. We encourage all believers who join us in person or online to participate in this very special time. To help you prepare for this wonderful time with our First Family, Pastor Eric wrote a short article on the blog to explain what will happen and how to prepare at home.

On November 13, Governor Northam announced new restrictions on public gatherings. Churches that have limited attendance and follow social distancing guidelines are exempt from these changes. We are still gathering in-person for worship and LIFEgroups tomorrow and 9 and 11. Read the entire update order from the governor here.
WEEKLY IN-PERSON GATHERINGS

Join us for one of our in-person worship gatherings and LIFEgroups. We take the recommended precautions including social distancing, mask usage, etc.

Some of our LIFEgroups are also now meeting in person. More details can be found at firstnorfolk.org/regather.
Live Online Worship SUNDAYS at 9:00 and 11:00
Christmas Mission Project:
Outreach for Christ Toy Drive
Outreach for Christ is a local ministry that shares the gospel by serving those in our community with various needs. At Christmas, Outreach for Christ provides toys for children through their Christmas Outreach. We are collecting toys and gifts for children up to age 18. Please bring unwrapped gifts to the collection area outside the Live the Mission Center. If you have any questions, please contact the missions office. missions@firstnorfolk.org
Sermon Series: Regifting
This past Sunday, Pastor Eric shared with us how Jesus is God’s gift of grace to humanity. It is by grace through Jesus, that God undoes what sin has done. Because of Jesus, we extend grace to others. If you missed his latest message, you can watch here.

Add the First Norfolk App to Your Phone or Tablet
Our mobile app has been completely rebuilt and many new features have been added. You can watch the latest services, access the blog, get event information, view the calendar, give, and more. The old app no longer works and your device should update you to the latest version, but you may have to manually update it depending on your settings.
You Can Join an Online LIFEgroup
Because God calls us to love one another, we will use available technology to allow our groups to continue to meet together digitally. Times will be scheduled and communicated to group members. If you are not yet a part of one of these groups, text “LIFEgroup” to 757-742-5558 to get connected. Be watching for information from your leader.

In addition to groups that meet online, we also offer Sunday morning LIFEgroup by telephone. To access this group, individuals may dial 1-877-407-0030, when promoted, enter the code 0030.
Our first priority is to care for our members. We recognize that over the coming days, you may have a need that you need help with. If you have a need please contact the church office at 757-461-3226 or click the link below.
The primary way we care for one another is through prayer. We maintain a prayer list of concerns that are shared with us. Our members regularly use this list to pray for others. Please download the list and pray for these requests. If you have a request, please let us know and we will add it to the list.
