Inspired by USF coursework, recent graduate champions mental health literacy for children
When Jayden Haggler enrolled in an introductory mental health and addiction course to fulfill his general education requirements at USF, he expected little more than a routine class on his path to graduation. Offered through the Department of Behavioral Health Science and Practice, the course introduced Haggler to historical perceptions of mental health and inspired him to publish a book aimed at introducing mental health concepts to children.
