MHLP researcher wins LGBTQ+ Older Adults and Aging Scholar’s Award


Nik Lampe, PhD, assistant professor in the Department of Mental Health Law and Policy (MHLP), was selected to receive the inaugural LGBTQ+ Older Adults and Aging Scholar’s Award administered by the Institute for Sexual and Gender Minority Health and Wellbeing at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, in collaboration with AARP. Supraja Anand selected as editor of the Speech Section of the Journal of Speech, Language, and Hearing Research


Supraja Anand, PhD, associate professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, has accepted an invitation to serve as editor of the Speech Section of the Journal of Speech, Language, and Hearing Research. Anand will serve a three-year term as editor from Jan. 1, 2025, through Dec. 31 2027. Read more.

Book co-edited by Michael Lynch named Top Academic Title


Handbook on Inequality and the Environment, co-edited by Michael Lynch, PhD, alongside Michael Long, PhD, and Paul Stretesky, PhD, has been named a Top Academic Title of 2024 by Choice, a publishing unit of the Association of College and Research Libraries, a division of the American Library Association. Tampa Midtown Rotary makes donation to CARD-USF and ABA program


For over a decade, the Tampa Midtown Rotary has raised funds for the Center for Autism and Related Disabilities at USF (CARD-USF) and the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program through its Cycling for Autism event. Despite the event's cancellation last year due to hurricanes Helene and Milton, the Rotary has continued its support. Read more.
