Researchers identify key predictors of mental health treatment completion in Indiana


Svetlana Yampolskaya, PhD, research professor; Linda M. Callejas, PhD, associate research professor; and Connie Walker-Egea, PhD, assistant research professor, all in the Department of Child and Family Studies, presented findings from the study titled "Predictors of Treatment Completion Among Clients Involved in the U.S. Public Mental Health System" at the 33rd European Congress of Psychiatry in Madrid, Spain. CBCS celebrated our Spring 2025 graduates with a variety of events last week, including pinning ceremonies for students in the Behavioral Healthcare and Bachelor of Social Work programs, a celebration of Master of Social Work graduates, and an event honoring graduates of the Doctor of Audiology program.

ASL interpreting students deliver powerful performance at Rays games


American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting students Kyle Volling and Emily Hernandez delivered a standout performance at the Tampa Bay Rays games held at George M. Steinbrenner Field last Tuesday and Wednesday. The pair translated the national anthem into ASL, creating a meaningful and proud moment for the Deaf community.
