New resource available for faculty: Digital Learning Live Support
Launching this year by USF Innovative Education, the Digital Learning Live Support team is now available to help faculty and adjuncts with everything from basic Canvas questions to advanced strategies in mitigating procrastination and optimizing student engagement. The group consists of Digital Learning experts who are well-versed in all digital platforms USF offers and is available to help Monday through Friday, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Read more.

ABA programs earn top national rankings for exam pass rates
For the 2022 and 2023 calendar years, students sitting for their board certification exams to become Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts® (BCaBA®) from USF's Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program have ranked number one in the country in terms of the percentage of students passing their certification exam on their first attempt. This ranking encompasses current and former students who have recently graduated from the ABA minor, the behavioral healthcare concentration in ABA, and the on-campus Master of Science program in ABA. HIPPY celebrates 33rd annual graduation ceremony
The Hillsborough Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY) program held its 33rd Annual Graduation Ceremony at the USF Marshall Student Center. The event celebrated 35 children and their parents who completed the program, which provides free home-based early education for children ages two to five. Read more.

Volunteers age 65+ needed for study on preventing Alzheimer's disease
The Preventing Alzheimer's with Cognitive Training (PACT) team is recruiting volunteers to participate in their research study to see if computerized training exercises reduce the risk of Alzheimer's disease. Interested adults who are 65 years or older, do not have any neurological disorders, have not had a stroke or brain injury, and do not have mild cognitive impairment or dementia, should visit www.PACTstudy.org for more information.

The Prevent-Teach-Reinforce (PTR) Model Training facilitated by Rose Iovannone, PhD, BDBA-D, is an eight-hour training divided into two parts, offered on two different days. The trainings cover the PTR Model, research supporting its efficacy, and the five steps of the PTR process. Organizers recommend that individuals attend the entire training on both days.
