CELEBRATING THE COLOUR ORANGE

IN THE GARDEN IN 2024

Does your winter get-away involve dreaming of summer’s gardens, perusing seed catalogues, and drawing garden designs? Did you know that the colour orange has been designated by our friends at Communities in Bloom to be the colour of the year in 2024?  Brighten your winter days by preparing for this year’s gardens. We have some great resources on our Nutrients for Life Canada website like our Garden Manual or the Guide to Vegetable Gardening  from the Compost Council of Canada to help you plan. Sign up or share our Nutrients for Life’s newsletter for up-to-date information on new school resources as well as opportunities and give aways.  For example, for Earth Day 2024, we will have seed kits available for Canadian schools with 4 or 5 different kinds of garden seeds to compliment the colour theme.  So please share our information with your teacher networks in your communities! We are excited for Spring and dream of the many colours of the garden.
