This Edition has a lot to unpack... you may want to skim now and come back later when you have more time and attention to give. :) Just remember, some of these opportunities are time-sensitive!
While we're on the topic, we've actually been working on streamlining our e-blasts and social media strategy so you don't miss content that is important to you and so that we can maximize the reach of YOUR content. There is always room for improvement, but we think you will start to notice some improvements in consistency.
We will continue to send emails that highlight a specific opportunity, topic or event as frequently as deemed appropriate, but our goal is to send an e-blast each Wednesday, as outlined below:
Week 1: "IACC Insider Exclusive" Monthly E-Newsletter
Week 2: "In Case You Missed It (ICYMI)" - Bulleted summary of full newsletter with link
Week 3: "What's Happening at the Chamber" - Summary of upcoming Chamber events & opportunities
Week 4: *COMING SOON - "Word On the Street" (More info next month)
This allows us to provide summarized information while ADDING new content as it received throughout the month. Plus, it gives you something to look forward to on Wednedays. ;)

Now you can find contact information and more at our new "Government Contact" webpage (click the button below). Expo
SAVE THE DATE: The "Community Expo" RETURNS... with a twist! The Expo Committee has settled on Saturday, September 17th to host the return of one of the area's favorite events. What's the twist? Well, we aren't quite ready to spill all of the beans but we think both businesses and community members are going to LOVE the ideas that the committee has for this years event. More info will be provided in the coming months, but if you are interested in having a booth, contact us to jump on the unofficial list now.
Strategic Planning/Board Operations
The past couple of months, we have mentioned that we have been working on our Strategic Plan. You can view an overview of the plan below. In this past month, we have recruited chairpersons for each of the committees that we identifed as neccessary to achieve our goals. These committee chairs are working to recruit their teams and identify their objectives for the remainder of 2022. Now that we are honing in on our process, we will likely be starting the planning process for 2023 in just a couple of months.
Speaking of committees, serving on a committee is a great way to build relationships and have an influence in your Chamber and community. If you might have an interest in serving on a Chamber committee, please contact us!
