Opportunities to Experience & Express
the Transforming Love of Jesus
| | | | | |
|
This Sunday, What does it mean to experience the unity that Jesus prayed for? Before His arrest and crucifixion, Jesus lifted His eyes in prayer, not only for His disciples but for everyone who would one day believe in Him. This Sunday, Rev. Dr. Paul Cunningham's message, One, explores John 17:20-26, where Jesus prays that His followers would share in the same unity and love that exists between the Father and the Son. More than simply getting along, this unity reflects God's presence, reveals His love to the world, and bears witness to the transforming power of the Gospel. Join us this Sunday as we discover what it means to live as one in Christ.
The sermon is titled, "One"

White collection barrels will remain in the church office and Life Center. Thank you for helping remind these children that they are seen, loved, and supported by their friends at La Jolla Pres. If you have questions, please talk with or email Jim Sedgwick.

Two Questions – Available Every Sunday | | | | |
At the end of each sermon, Pastor Paul gives us two questions to help us reflect on the message and carry it into the week ahead. Many of you have asked for an easy way to find them after Sunday morning, especially when you don’t have time to take a picture or write them down.
Beginning now, each Sunday’s questions will be posted before worship at ljpres.org/2questions. Bookmark the page and return throughout the week as you continue reflecting on what God may be saying to you through the sermon.
