Hi Suisun Valley,
There are so many things we love about our new business, but our favorite thing is the community!
Shortly after we became the new owners of Valley Store (formerly Mail Stop), two old friends who'd raised their children together but hadn’t seen each other in quite some time happened to be in the store at the same time. When their eyes met, they broke into smiles and giggles, hugged, and explained to us the depth and richness of their history.
A couple of weeks ago, something similar happened!
A longtime neighbor, who is a new customer, randomly stopped by to purchase a few greeting cards and stamps. While making her purchase, one of our founding customers picked up their mail and packages. When the new customer heard the name and they realized the connection, an amazing reunion unfolded before our eyes.
We love to see community happen in real time! We love hearing your stories and learning all that you have to share with us about the history of the valley. Our goal is to intentionally create similar stories. Maybe you’ll find a friend (new or old) while visiting our shop!
