Are you a mission-driven leader passionate about eliminating poverty and empowering families? Johnston-Lee-Harnett Community Action, Inc. is seeking a visionary Executive Director to guide our impactful work across Head Start, Early Head Start, Weatherization, CSBG, and other essential community services.
As Executive Director, you’ll lead with purpose—overseeing operations, ensuring program excellence and compliance, and cultivating strong community partnerships that create lasting change.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the administration of Head Start/Early Head Start, Weatherization, and CSBG
Ensure high-quality services and regulatory compliance
Support and develop a dedicated team
Collaborate with the Board of Directors and Policy Council
Build meaningful relationships with local stakeholders
Qualifications:
Master’s in Public Administration, Education, Social Work, Nonprofit Management, or related field; 5–10 years of executive experience, ideally in the nonprofit sector
