60 years of Helping People, Changing Lives, and Building Families.

Since 1965, the Macon-Bibb Equal Opportunity Council (EOC) has empowered families and strengthened our community through vital programs like Head Start, LIHEAP, and Weatherization. As recent federal funding challenges remind us, Community Action is as essential today as it was six decades ago. Your voice and support help ensure these lifelines continue, just as they have for 60 years and counting.

In October, the Macon-Bibb EOC team came together for a joyful luncheon celebrating our anniversary! It was a wonderful time to reflect on our roots, share stories, and honor the incredible impact our staff continues to make. Sixty years strong — Helping People. Changing Lives. Building Families. — every day in our community.

Thank You for Making a Difference!

Our October Diapers and Wipes Distribution was a tremendous success, and it’s all thanks to you! Because of your generosity and teamwork, families across Bibb and surrounding counties received more than 40,000 diapers to help keep their little ones happy, healthy, and cared for.

We’re so grateful to our incredible volunteers, the Mercer ROTC, Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, Georgia Community Action Association, and all our community partners who came together with helping hands and big hearts.

Together, we’re helping people, changing lives, and building families — one diaper at a time.

Always Watching the NFL?

Now it’s time to join the Networking Fatherhood League (NFL)!

This powerful program is designed to support and empower fathers and family advocates through skill-building workshops, peer mentorship, and community connections that last well beyond the season. Whether you’re a dad, mentor, or support specialist, the NFL is your team for personal growth, leadership, and strong family engagement.
