Community Asked to Help Write Thank You Cards for 1,800 Henderson County Public School Employees for Day of Action Project

This year we will have one Day of Action project: to write a personalized thank you card for every staff member in our Henderson County Public Schools.

Our educators and school support staff are under more stress than ever before. And HCPS leaders have asked United Way to help mobilize a community-wide effort to collect and distribute cards to all of its 1,800 employees.

How can you help? Sign up today to take home a set of 50 cards. Your workplace team, civic or neighborhood group, scout club or family will have a week to write personal messages of thanks and support on your 50 cards. We’ll even help you out with some sample language you can put in your cards. You’ll return them to UWHC to be delivered to our educators before the December holiday break.
