The deadline for submitting materials in writing or, if practicable for the agency, in the specified electronic form, is Tuesday, August 20, 2024.

 

The public hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at DHHS Brown Building, Auditorium, 129 Pleasant Street, Concord, NH.

The Bureau of Developmental Services recently announced the following upcoming stakeholder engagement opportunities.


BDS will kick off a series of presentations on the current services available on the Developmental Disabilities waiver. Please join on Wednesday evenings beginning July 24th from 5:00 to 6:00 to review the services in more detail. There will be four sessions, with four services reviewed at each session.


BDS will also host a series of focus groups to hear additional feedback, experiences, and thoughts from stakeholders on specific topics.


There will be two sessions for each topic.

  • Developmental Services Forms - Individual & Family Session: August 8, 5:00-6:30 pm.


  • Participant Directed and Managed Services (PDMS) - Individual & Family Session August 15, 5:00-6:30 pm

Congratulations to Beckie and Cedric Robb, who were awarded Home Provider of the Year for 2024!


The Direct Support Professionals Award Planning Committee wishes to recognize the outstanding people throughout the state who support individuals with developmental disabilities in the community. April Samenfeld of Community Choices, a provider program of Community Bridges, nominated Beckie and Cedric. After much consideration, they were awarded this prestigious title. A recognition ceremony will take place later this year.

Registration is now open for the 2024 Family Support Conference, which will take place on August 3rd at the DoubleTree Hotel in Downtown Manchester, NH!  


The Community Bridges Family Support Council will cover the registration cost this year. If you are interested in attending the event, please complete the attached 2024 Family Support Conference Registration form and send it to Cathy Wahl at cwahl@cbinnh.org. Also, cc your service coordinator on the email. If you plan to reserve accommodations, you can find the instructions for booking your room at the group rate at www.familysupportconference.com.


The Community Bridges Family Support Council will partially reimburse your hotel stay after the conference has been completed, and you have provided a copy of your receipt/invoice to Community Bridges. This reimbursement will occur via check.
