Warrant articles for vote include prior year bills, transfer to Fire Department budget, free cash transfer to the facility stabilization fund, capital items (portable voting machines, portable baseball field fence & storage and security cameras), free cash transfer to the athletic field stabilization fund,, free cash transfer for consultant for BESS study, transfer CPA funds for a 1964 fire truck restoration, transfer CPA funds to construct the accessible trail, viewing platform and associated parking, amend zoning by-law: environmental standards, amend zoning bylaw BESS moratorium, amend zoning by-law schedule or uses, energy resource district, housing keeping, construction equipment and street acceptance: Bramble, Briar, Fern, Field, Redgate. A ceremony honoring our Veterans will take place at Matondi Square on November 11, 2021. The ceremony will start promptly at 11:00 a.m. with the ringing of the bells. In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held at the Medway Village Church, 170 Village Street. All are invited to attend. Matondi Square is located at the corner of Village Street and Holliston Street near Town Hall (155 Village Street).

Household Hazardous Waste Day is Saturday November 20, rain or shine, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Recycling Center, 46 Broad Street. (Event is for Medway residents ONLY). Please limit your items to 25 gallons or 25 pounds. It is a free drop-off service and all the items will be removed from your vehicle!

Save the date for Medway's Annual Christmas Parade and fireworks over Choate Park! Last year's route was such a success that we decided to keep it! The parade will begin at 5:30 p.m. on November 27. It will leave MHS and take a left onto Summer St, left onto Milford St, will follow to Franklin St, left onto Village St, left onto Holliston St, and finally a left onto Main St. Fire trucks will lead Santa's float. The parade will end at Choate Park/Thayer Homestead. A concession stand, music, and a visit from Santa along with a short ceremony will be held. The evening will culminate with festive tree lighting and fireworks! Congratulations to this year's grand marshall(s); Maryjane White, Charlene Tingley, Steve Mitchell, Dave D'Amico, John Rojee and Joe MacDougall.

This Saturday is the Medway Lions Club bottle and can drive. All you have to do is bag up your bottles and cans and leave them at the end of your driveway by 8:30 a.m.this Saturday, November 6 and a volunteer will be by to pick it up. Please remember that you can also drop off donations at the West Medway Liquors shed anytime! Thank you.
