About Tessa Veksler
A 2024 graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara, Veksler served as student body president during a period of intense pressure on Jewish students following the attacks of October 7, 2023. Veksler’s story is featured in the documentary October 8. She has since become a prominent international voice for Jewish pride, leadership, and the fight against antisemitism, earning recognitions that include invitations to the White House, United Nations, Stand with Us, Birthright, as well as UCSB’s University Service Award. Today, she lives in New York City, working in public relations while continuing to share her message of strength and resilience.
