Community Catch - July 2022
Young Philanthropists Quench Thirst for a Good Cause!

These young members of our FISH family heard about the baby formula shortage and how hard it was for food banks to keep it stocked. They wanted to find a way to help, so they held a lemonade stand to raise money to purchase formula for families in need! When they came by the FISH marketplace to drop off their donations, we got to hear about their amazing project. We are so grateful for and inspired by the creative ways these kids are making a difference in our community! Thank you for your hard work, thoughtfulness, and generosity. We couldn't help our neighbors in need without people like you.

Volunteer Spotlight:
Debbie Lopez

This month we feature one of our wonderful participant services volunteers, Debbie Lopez! Debbie has been volunteering with FISH since October 2021. She shares, "I love greeting and interacting with our participants. The participants are truly my inspiration for being at FISH." She is expanding her volunteer role this year as an ambassador representing FISH at events throughout the Broomfield community. Outside of FISH, she loves spending time with her husband and two teenage boys, gardening, taking fitness classes, traveling, and brunching with girlfriends. Thank you Debbie for making FISH a warm, welcoming, and helpful space for our participants!
