Congrats to Heart of Broomfield award winners, Dayna and Kate!
We are thrilled to announce that two members of our wonderful FISH family will be honored with Heart of Broomfield awards this year. Our Executive Director, Dayna Scott, is receiving the Walter P. Spader Leadership Award and our Youth Advisory Board Co-President, Kate Lampo, is receiving the Youth Award! We encourage you to TUNE IN to the Broomfield Community Foundation awards on Tuesday, March 16th from 5:30 to 7 pm. The event is FREE and online tickets can be found HERE.
Join our FISH Fan Club
Throughout the month, we are growing our ''FISH Fan Club'' of recurring donors and we need your help. Setting up a recurring donation is a convenient, budget- friendly way to give to FISH and make a larger impact over the course of a year. Your March Madness "Sweet 16," "Elite 8," or "Final 4" recurring donation helps us to invest in specific areas of our work and strategically expand innovative programs. Whatever bracket you choose is an opportunity to prevent hunger and homelessness in our community. Click HERE to learn more about the Fan Club.
Turn Your Tax Return
into a GOOD DEED
If you get a state income tax refund, you now have the opportunity to donate some or all of it to help neighbors in need in our community.
The new state initiative, ReFUND CO, that began in 2020 puts you in control of deciding if you want to donate some or all of your tax refund to a Colorado-registered charity. It’s as easy as 1,2,3:

  1. Decide how much of your refund to donate.
  2. Enter "Community Table" and our registration number "20033002744" in the "Donate to a Colorado Nonprofit Fund" line on your state income tax return or tax software—or give this info to your tax preparer when you share your tax documents.
  3. Smile, knowing you’ve helped a neighbor in need!
