GVCO Community Center Sitework Continues at Bacton Hill

The catastrophic rain storm yesterday sidelined the sitework crew but the building pad and stormwater basin held up great. Kudos to the engineer and sitework crew!

Being the Queen is not all about singing, and being a diva is not all about singing. It has much to do with your service to people. And your social contributions to your community and your civic contributions as well.

GVCO Community Partnership
Announcing a new GVCO Partnership

For many years, GVCO has enjoyed a tremendous relationship with Temple University's School of Sports Tourism and Hospitality Management. Recently GVCO has reached out to Immaculata's Office of Career and Professional Development to initiate a similar relationship.

As a local community partner, Immaculata is a natural fit for GVCO as we continue to develop further programming here in the Great Valley Community. Immaculata has strength in areas like adult programs and Education - areas that GVCO plans to focus on with the onset of the new facility. As we move into the new school year, look for GVCO and Immaculata working together for the betterment of our local community.

GVCO Donor Spotlight
The Banavitch Family
Paying It Forward

The Great Valley Community Organization has been a part of Kathy & Mark’s life for the last 17 years.

All 3 of their children, Allison, Owen & Ryan, participated in GVBL. Allison’s first job was at the snack shack, and the boys played GVFL as well.

GVCO is where the whole family developed and fostered friendships that they know will last a lifetime. The organization has provided such a positive and safe outlet for their children that they knew they needed to Pay It Forward. Kathy & Mark Banavitch know of the positive impact GVCO had on their family, and they want future families to experience the same that is why it was so important for them to donate to the Capital Campaign. The possibilities are endless with the building of the new center, and both young and old will benefit, which will foster an even stronger sense of community.
