City Expands Community Shuttle Service to All Adults


The Chula Vista Community Shuttle is now available to all adults in the City's Northwest area. Adults 18 to 54 years old can ride for $2 a trip, and 55 years and older ride free.

The City secured a $10 million grant from the U.S. Department of Energy to help owners of multifamily, commercial, and industrial buildings improve energy efficiency.

A City-led homeless count conducted last month showed significant progress in the number of people who have moved from the streets into transitional shelters.

Measure A Update


Chula Vista voters in 2018 approved Measure A, authorizing a half-cent sales tax for critical public safety needs in Chula Vista. The sales tax helps the City to provide faster 9-1-1 responses, increase neighborhood patrols, reduce gang and drug-related crimes, and address homelessness.
