We have 3 going to participate in a variety of events as well as 2 more that will be coming along to observe and hang out with us. So When Sunday comes around be sure to ask George, Parker, and Lillie how they did at TNT as well as what Grayson and Enrique thought about it.

Mission book reading is back on! Each week, one of the books will be featured here, so be sure to take a look and check out the book that interests you. See Edith for more information.
Africa, O Africa
by Louise Robinson Chapman, Edited by Chuck & Doris Gailey
A story of incredible resilience and passionate faith in a country not her own, Louise Robinson Chapman's Africa, O Africa is a reminder that God calls and sends people who are willing to say 'Yes' to His will. This updated edition, by Chuck and Doris Gailey, retired missionaries to Africa, brings the reader the voice of Dr. Chapman, and picks up the story since the book was first released in 1945.

Wednesday nights, 7- 8:00 pm starting February 6
In response to the needs of our Spanish speaking members, we will be beginning a class on February 6, Wednesday evenings from 7:00-8:00 pm.
This is a great opportunity for those who DON'T speak Spanish to be involved with our Hispanic members. This will be a very casual hour of
talking together in English using discussion starters around current topics, Bible Stories, sharing about ourselves, our families, our professions,
and times of prayer for one another.
Our hope is that we can develop teams of two to work together each week, rotating the teams so that no one is committed every week.
We hope to have a Bible Story and discussion topic suggestions for the facilitators but also giving freedom for the leaders to encourage discussion on
topics brought up by the participants. All speech will be using basic vocabulary and grammar, with it understood the leaders will be making corrections and
suggestions to improve the participants correct use of the language.
Many of our Spanish speaking friends have taken rigorous English grammar (ugh) classes but really just need to practice hearing and formulating an E
nglish response to people in a conversation. This will be an hour of letting them practice using their English language skills.
If you would be interested in volunteering to be a part of a team, please see Carol Gray ASAP. GRACIAS!!
