Wheelz2Work is improving lives!

"It feels like I got my freedom back!"-Diana, our most recent recipient of a Wheelz2Work vehicle said as she was handed the keys from Gene Epstein, founder of the program. Diana is enrolled in BCOC's Economic Self-Sufficiency and Senior Connect programs. Her hard work and determination made her a clear choice for this car.

Thank you to Gene and Marlene Epstein for this generous donation! This program is a partnership with Bucks County Community College and Univest Financial.

What makes BCOC the BEST of BUCKS?

Stories of success and triumph over adversary are at the core of what we do. Meet Dotty...

Dotty, a medically frail senior with a disability and other barriers to affordable housing, lost her rented room in August and was referred to Housing Locator. She needed a first-floor unit and a landlord willing to look beyond her barriers. During this time, Dotty was in and out of the hospital and then, her daughter passed away, adding more challenges. In December, a first-floor apartment was found with a new landlord who was offered the Landlord Bonus Incentive and was willing to house Dotty. The apartment is located near family who can provide Dotty with transportation, help her with grocery shopping, and other needs and tasks. This was incredibly important for her after the loss of her daughter.

ALL ABOUT VITA-

VOLUNTEER INCOME TAX ASSISTANCE

Tax preparation season has arrived and BCOC is here to help.

For most of us, doing taxes is a dreaded task, but for some Bucks County residents, it is impossible to complete on their own, and they cannot afford a tax prep service.

VITA, one of our core programs, is specifically designed for low-income families and individuals who need help.

Check to see if you qualify and request an appointment here.
