OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUTH
Youth Resilience Program - The Center for Sexual Assault Survivors is hosting The DO YOU Program is a youth resiliency building program, through the use of creative expression. It is a 10 session program, where participants meet on a set day once a week for 10 weeks. We will be tackling a variety of issues from bullying, sexual harassment, dating violence, etc. Each session will last up to 2 hours and will have a different activity that will help promote healthy/non-violent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills to participants. The program will be held every Friday from 4pm-6pm, and is set to start on Friday, April 21. This group is open to teens ages 13 to 16. To learn more, click here.

Colonial Behavioral Health is offering separate trainings for those who work with youth and for the general public. Participants will learn how to assist someone experiencing a mental health problem or crisis, including risk factors and warning signs for mental health and addiction concerns, strategies for how to help someone in both crisis and non-crisis situations, and where to turn for help.
