Coldest Night of the Year is Almost Here!

There is still time to join us for this heartwarming, community building, get yourself moving, fun and meaningful event! Use the button to sign up to walk, donate, sponsor, or volunteer. Help us fight hunger and homelessness...because it's cold out there!

Our why...meet Wayne.

After nine years in a tent, Wayne is off the streets. His determination and your donations changed his life.

Wayne came to BCOC as a Housing Link referral who had been homeless in the woods for nine years. He had been a long-term client of street outreach champions Allen and Chris. Wayne told his case manager that he has seen a lot of people die outside in the last few years and after losing Chris and Allen, both who passed away in the last couple of years, and the support they offered, he decided at 64 years old he does not want to die outside. He has been sober for eight years, a huge feat for someone living outside, and is ready to live indoors. "This is a huge step for me," he reflected.

BCOC helped Wayne with the money needed towards initial rent and security. Sam expressed tremendous gratitude for the assistance!

Your participation isn’t just a donation — it’s a statement that you believe in our mission. You’ve turned hope into action, and action into real change.

Gene and Marlene Epstein Continue to make an impact!

Fifty Bucks County residents will receive direct financial relief thanks to a $50,000 donation from the Gene and Marlene Epstein Humanitarian Fund. The funds will be distributed as $1,000 checks to individuals vetted through BCOC. The first recipients received their checks recently at our office in Bristol.

Gene and Marlene Epstein believe assistance can make a meaningful difference during difficult times, helping families stabilize and move forward. BCOC has participants who need that support and Gene and Marlene understand that this gift might change someone’s month, improve their conditions, and help lift them up to make a better life for themselves and their families.

With this donation, they also hope to inspire others who can engage with worthy causes throughout their community.

All 50 people have already been chosen for this support.
