Community Connections

January 2025

1st Edition

Happy New Year!!! We are celebrating the amazing support you provided during the holiday season, all of the magical moments you created through your generous donations and volunteerism, our 60th year of serving the Bucks County Community, and more!

Give A Christmas Contributions Continue to Pour In!

Since 1988, our community has supported neighbors in need during the holiday season through BCOC and The Intelligencer Give A Christmas drive. Each time the fund grows, our capacity to help increases. Not only have you provided gift cards at the holidays, but donations are utilized throughout the year to pay a rent bill to avoid eviction, a utility bill to keep a family warm, a car repair to keep a parent working, and other basic needs which sometimes cause hardship and stress at a difficult moment. This year, donations have hit our goal of $165,000 and continue to grow. There is still time to make your contribution!

With reliable transportation, she can keep working and get closer to her dream of financial security, home ownership, and independence! Goal driven and focused, we couldn't be more excited to see what she does next!

The Pursuit of Happyness

February 19, 2025

This screening is underwritten by BCOC. It is being shown to coincide with the CNOY event which aims to address the issues faced by the unhoused population.

This emotionally compelling drama features Will Smith in the role of Chris Gardner, a struggling salesman who assumes custody of his young son. As Gardner embarks on a transformative professional journey, he confronts the challenges of homelessness.
