This Community is Amazing!

Due to the overwhelming response to the SNAP food crisis by all of you, we are setting up a designated time for food donation drop-offs. We are incredibly grateful for the food drives and collections you have set up, contributed to, promoted, and worked hard to make successful!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Meet Sara...

Sara works remotely as a medical billing and coding specialist because she needs to be home to supervise the on-line schooling activities of her two children, ages 16 and 9, both who were born with no immune system and receive monthly infusions to try to maintain their health. They are incredibly at-risk in the general population and must try to limit exposure at all costs. With a mentally disabled husband, Sara says the cost of living and basic needs make it difficult every day. These gifts will, “…make them smile and be happy,” she says.

Since this program began, over $4 million dollars has donated to help support local families during the holidays. The money raised helps financially challenged residents not only during the holidays, but throughout the year with emergency rental assistance, utilities, and other crucial supports.

Last year, GAC provided assistance to over 520 families in our area.

Thanksgiving Meal Kits...Wow! What a response!

Thanks to your generosity, we have collected dozens and dozens of Thanksgiving Meal Kits to share with our community! This will help to ensure that our neighbors who are struggling financially this season have what they need to sit down and share a holiday meal.

National Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week

Thank you to the Bucks County Foundation!

The Bucks County Foundation, led by Mandy Mundy, has supported our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program for many, many years. We are grateful for the grants which have sustained the program and allow us to serve our community.
