Welcome back, students!


Elizabethtown Community and Technical College welcomed students to the Fall 2022 semester with WOW Week. The event, hosted by the First Year Experience (FYE) program, is all about connecting students, faculty, staff and community partners in a fun atmosphere. Students enjoyed games, music and food, learned about college programs and clubs, and more. We wish all our students a fantastic semester! 

Record number of students begin nursing journey


This semester, the ECTC nursing program welcomed 40 first-semester nursing students — the largest group of new nursing students in college history.

ECTC centralizes student support, names director of student success


Elizabethtown Community and Technical College (ECTC) is making it easier for students to find the support they need by introducing the Student Success Hub, located in the Academic Technical Building (ATB) on the Elizabethtown campus. It will be led by longtime professor and new Director of Student Success Josh Druen.

Barbieri named new Workforce Solutions Liaison


ECTC Workforce Solutions has announced the appointment of Mike Barbieri as a Workforce Solutions liaison. Barbieri comes to ECTC from Doe Valley in Brandenburg, where he served as general manager.

ECTC hosted a free grant writing workshop Aug. 15, connecting the next generation of nonprofit professionals with the know-how they need to better fund their organizations' missions.

Meet Pathfinder!


Wise, encouraging and brave, ECTC's mascot Pathfinder is here to help students navigate their path to a better life.


With years of experience, he has blazed the trail for education and training. Pathfinder brings a full heart and playful energy to engage students and believes they are capable of achieving their goals, no matter the struggle.

Spring 2021 President's List and Dean's List


For Spring 2022, 159 full-time students and 35 part-time students made the President’s Honor List, and 433 full-time and 396 part-time students made the Dean’s List. Congratulations to all the students who earned these academic honors!

Work Study student finds better life


Two years ago, Isabella Morgeson found herself not only grappling with the realities of the pandemic, but also living in a domestic violence shelter with her three young children. With not many options and near rock bottom, she needed a job and a way to a better life. She discovered both of those at Elizabethtown Community and Technical College (ECTC).
