Peden Fund grants $26,000 for ECTC faculty educational pursuits


The Kennard and Melva Peden Fund granted support for nine proposals with 11 ECTC faculty, totaling $26,000 for the Spring 2023 semester.

Respiratory Care Club donates to Norton's

ECTC's Respiratory Care Club participated in a Scentsy Fundraiser, donating approximately 50 Scentsy Buddies to Norton's Children's Hospital. ECTC is now accepting nominations for the 2023 Beacon of Light Awards, which honor African Americans in the ECTC service area for their successes, exemplary service to their professions and communities, and their commitment to servant leadership and equity.

Adult learner transfers

to Penn State University

 

February will mark 28 years in the golf industry for ECTC adult learner David Thomas who graduates with an associate degree this December. He will begin next semester online at Penn State University, working toward his bachelor’s degree in agriculture with a focus in turf science.

Cameron Senay takes aim at the Olympics while studying for his career at Elizabethtown Community and Technical College.


The 18-year-old began in the Industrial Maintenance Technology program in the fall while dabbling in other advanced manufacturing programs.
