Coding Academy scholarship leads to brighter future

As a supporter of the ECTC Greater Knox Coding Academy scholarship fund, Golden Key Group (GKG) seeks to make a difference by helping students gain in-demand IT certifications that enable them to move into the workforce quickly. 

ECTC alumnus is distinguished FAME graduate

ECTC graduate Aspen Brimhall of Elizabethtown was recently named Distinguished FAME Graduate by the Lincoln Trail chapter of KY FAME (Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education). Brimhall graduated in spring 2022 with an Associate in Applied Science degree in Industrial Maintenance and is employed at Fischbach USA.

Business student brings boarding dreams to life

For 19-year-old Aubrey Mealey, her education at ECTC prepared her to make her dream of opening a business a reality. Currently a full-time pet groomer and business student, she had the know-how to create a strong business plan and succeed in securing a small business loan.  

July is an exciting time for us at Elizabethtown Community and Technical College. It offers the chance to look back on the year that was, and look ahead as we prepare to welcome students back to class Aug. 15.
