ECTC celebrates Women's History Month


In recognition of Women’s History Month, ECTC is hosting Femininity over Fear, a guest speakers series highlighting contributions to society made by women.


“Throughout March, we’re shining a light on women from history and our own time who have broken barriers, changed lives, and inspired us all,” said Director of Cultural Diversity Jerisia Lamons. “We’re grateful to each presenter for sharing their stories and helping the college community commemorate Women’s History Month.”

ECTC Choristers bring together students, community in song


The ECTC Choristers reunited at the start of the 2022-2023 academic year, singing for the first time since the spring of 2020 and bringing together students, faculty and community members.

Susan Cooper named to Kentucky's Chapter of GPAB


Susan Cooper, BS, MA, RANK I, Director of Grants and Contracts at ECTC, was named to Kentucky’s Chapter of the Grant Professionals Association Board of Directors in January. In her role as member at large, Cooper said, she is excited about networking with other grant professionals and opening doors to new partnership opportunities for ECTC and the Kentucky Community and Technical College System.

ECTC student gets jump on marketing career goals


Gabbie Brockman, a Business Administration student at ECTC recently put her classroom knowledge to the test by redesigning the logo for ECTC’s Creating Opportunities for Diversity in Education (CODE) program. Director of Cultural Diversity Jerisia Lamons visited Brockman’s Business Marketing class and presented a few needs of the office and encourage students to get involved.

ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT

Clark uses education at ECTC to serve manufacturing industry


Leah Pierce Clark graduated from ECTC December 2021as first generation college student with an Associate of Applied Science in Engineering and Electronics Technology, focusing in Computer Maintenance and Instrumentation. Clark utilized the 2+2 partnership with Morehead State University to complete her bachelors in Technology Management, May 2022.
