MESSAGE FROM MAYOR KLING

COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS MATTER

Keeping a city of our size connected is not always easy. It is vital for residents to have opportunities to connect with their local government and also one another.

In the month of April, the City of Nampa will be hosting three events across the city to bring awareness about the work of the city, increase transparency and build relationships with those we serve. We hope you can attend the event in your district - but you're welcome to attend any of the evening events. See more details in the below flyer.

For questions, please contact our office via email or by calling (208) 468-5401.

NAMPA MAYOR TEEN COUNCIL VISITS IDAHO STATE CAPITOL

The Nampa Mayor Teen Council had the honor of visiting with several elected officials in the Idaho State Legislature this week. Thank you to all of the representatives who took time to visit with them and made our day special!

Planning and Zoning Department has worked hard over the past year to educate the public about ways to engage in the planning and zoning process. In addition to the recently completed "Citizen's Guide to Planning" magazine and video series, they have also launched a new map for the community to access.

By working with Nampa's Geographic Information System (GIS) team, they created a visual map showing the upcoming land use public hearings which will be heard at Nampa's Planning & Zoning Commission and/or Nampa City Council.

In addition to the map, the City of Nampa's public meeting portal is an important resource for all official materials related to public meetings. We hope you'll take a few moments to visit these websites.
