We are making a change to our inclement weather planning and may delay the start of the school day by two hours instead of calling a full snow day that has to be made up at the end of the year. The two-hour late start provides time for families to avoid rush hour traffic and additional time for streets, sidewalks, and parking lots to be cleared, allowing for safer travel to school. A two-hour late start will most likely be called the evening before and if the late start turns into a full-day closure, an updated message will be communicated to families.

Early morning activities will be canceled.
All weather related delays and closings will be communicated through email, phone calls, social media, and news station announcements. We understand the inconvenience that weather cancellations and delays create for families, but we will always prioritize student and staff safety by taking the time to make the best decision possible given the nature of weather and forecasting.
