ECTC celebrates Manufacturing Month

ECTC was thrilled to partner with Elizabethtown/Hardin County Industrial Foundation, Inc. and Meade County, Hardin County and Elizabethtown Independent Schools to showcase advanced manufacturing programs during Manufacturing Month! Students got an up-close look at manufacturing labs, met with multiple employers who hire our graduates, and explored career pathways using our virtual reality technology.

Community encouraged to help ECTC students through Thanksgiving meal drive

The community is invited to help ECTC students and their families celebrate Thanksgiving again this year through the Family Scholar House Thanksgiving Meal Drive. This is the second year for the drive, which served 65 ECTC students and families last year. Donations will be accepted until Nov. 8 at various locations throughout the community, with a goal to serve at least 100 students this year.

Nominations open for ECTC Distinguished Alumni and Lifetime Achievement Awards

Now in its 18th year, ECTC's Distinguished Alumni Program has celebrated the accomplishments of 146 outstanding former students and graduates. These leaders have made noteworthy contributions to their professions and communities, expanding ECTC's impact across the country. Nominees are now being sought for induction into the 2024 class of honorees.

“I had to hit rock bottom before I ever saw a way out of it,” she said. “I had everything taken away. It took a complete spiritual awakening for me to see the light at the end of the tunnel.”
