Community Impact

Costuming at Stage 284

Kristin Crockett has been a part of our community since 2018 and we can't thank her, and her entire family, enough for their support. The best thing about theater is that it's a collaborative effort and Kristin is a prime example of this. Her most recent project, costuming Beauty and the Beast, is a true testament to her creativity as she was tasked with thinking outside the box to create enchanted objects, wolves, and princesses for over 80 actors. Thank you Kristin, for your time, talents, and kindness. We are so grateful you are part of the Stage 284 family!

We’re merging with Creative Co-Op in Topsfield! As you know, Stage 284 leads with inclusivity and kindness first and so does Creative Co-Op! School of Rock - March 6 - 23

Rock got no reason, rock got no rhyme… You better get me to school on time! The tuner follows Dewey Finn, a failed, wannabe rock star who decides to earn an extra bit of cash by posing as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. There he turns a class of straight–A pupils into a guitar-shredding, bass-slapping, mind-blowing rock band. But can he get them to the Battle of the Bands without their parents and the school’s headmistress finding out?

This production is rated PG-13 and may not be appropriate for all audience members.
