June Veteran of the Month - Tyeasha VanBuren

Tyeasha 'Ty' VanBuren has only lived in Charlotte for a year but even in that short amount of time she has managed to make a huge impact on our Veteran community. Since moving here, Ty has become a VBH Captain and an active volunteer with Safe Alliance. She is also the co-star of North Cack, which has done community work by spotlighting small businesses in the area as well as doing community “give back” activities. Ty has also been apart of BrothAhood, a show in which she's had a hand in creating PSA’s to give mental health and housing resources to Veterans. (Read more)

Ty, we want to thank you for all you do! Congratulations on being this month's VOTM!
