Monthly Community Connect Supper

Our monthly Community Connect Supper is Wednesday, October 6, in the Fellowship Hall. Food is served beginning at 5:45pm. Thank you to the Children’s Ministry Team for setting up, serving and cleaning up! A presentation about this year’s Thanksgiving Food Drive will be made at 6:30. Come enjoy a time of fellowship and ministry! The menu is beef stroganoff, noodles, glazed carrots, and vanilla cake. You can reserve and prepay for dinner at chambleeumc.org.
Backpack Buddies Pantry Restock

Backpack Buddies is back up and running! This program helps to fill the gap for students who receive free/reduced lunch during the week from the school but need some help over the weekend. Erin Wingerson and Sheila Gillispie dropped off the first backpacks at Huntley Hills Elementary on September 16!

The Backpack Buddies pantry could use some re-stock help – especially boxed milk, noodle cups, and small cans of vegetables. Our Amazon list has a more complete list of the items that we need. You can use the Amazon list to see what’s needed and then buy it locally and drop items off at church. Thank you for all of your continued support for Huntley Hills Elementary!!
RSVP for Sunday Services

Join us for our regular schedule of services this Sunday: 9am Modern and 11am Traditional!

And mark your calendars for October 17 and 24: our 9am Modern Service will be outdoors on the lawn! October 31 we will have our 5th Sunday Celebration...a combined service at 10am.
Disaster Response and Refugee Aid

As followers of Jesus, we are called to care for our neighbors. We have compiled several practical ways you can give to those in great need in this season on this page of our website.
Immigration Forum - Last Week!

We are situated in the midst of a diverse city with 34% of the population having been born outside of the United States. As United Methodists and as Christians part of our witness is to offer love and hospitality to the sojourner and to seek unity in our common call to follow Christ. You are invited to join Chamblee UMC for a four-session exploration of immigration and faith in partnership with El Refugio.
