California Free Food Resource Map

L.A. Controller Ron Galperin just released this new statewide map of free food resources available to Californians. This is the only resource of its kind in California and shows more than 1,400 food banks, food pantries, emergency distribution centers, and other community resources providing free access to food across the state.

"Californians have yet to see any of the gas rebates that were promised by the state’s Democratic leaders earlier this year.
The holdup is a result of disagreement over a pair of proposals that would each provide rebates to California residents... Newsom signaled to Bay Area News Group that because of the dispute, relief may not come until October."
