In this wisdom circle, we will learn to create a “new vision of aging." During these sessions, you will be guided to:
- Develop skills of self-compassion
- Discover what gives heart & meaning to your life
- Minimize feelings of isolation
- Cultivate a personal roadmap for your own aging journey
We hope you will join us as we focus on listening to our own inner wisdom and guidance, cultivating best practices, sharing in an intimate conversation circle, and listening to the collective wisdom of the group.

The Retreat House
Community Hermitage
|
Over these 40 days of Lent, the Retreat House has welcomed community wishing to share their loving presence with this place, to engage with its beauty, and to ground themselves in the quiet freedom offered by wandering amongst the mature trees.
Friends were invited to sink into a private overnight space and rest in Mother Nature herself. It was an invitation to participate in an intentional community but with Covid protocols in place; it meant that we each took a turn being here, one by one. Each person had her/his own unique intention for their time here which was as short as a day or as long as 10 nights and days. Out of this time has grown a sense of connection in a new and different way—full of Spirit, full of God’s Love.
One person from the group came with a particular intention to honor her mom. We are grateful to share this personal story by Heather Hall where she offers her reflections on retreating.
”Being on retreat is an opportunity to let your soul catch up
with your body."

Where do you see a rebirth in your own life and
how is that specifically tied to this year of extraordinary challenges?
What do you wish to leave behind…or carry with you?
This Seasonal Quiet Day will focus on new beginnings! Join us as we observe the parallels among spring, resurrection, and the gradual ending of the pandemic.
We will be guided by scripture, poetry, silence, and conversation, and most of all by Mother Nature.
This socially distanced gathering will take place in St. Paul’s Church and on the beautiful grounds of the Retreat House. Bring your lunch to enjoy indoors or outdoors in the spaces we have prepared. (Masks will still be required indoors.)
Once registered, you will receive the Zoom link.
