Lawrence General Hospital Welcomes

Holy Family Hospital Campuses

On October 1, Lawrence General and Holy Family Hospitals celebrated their union, marking a new chapter in Merrimack Valley healthcare. Joined by Health and Human Services Secretary Kate Walsh, local officials, and community partners, leaders and staff from both hospitals gathered to recognize this milestone.

Once an “improbable and audacious dream,” this partnership brings hope for high-quality, patient-focused care centered on equity, diversity, and inclusion. With Holy Family remaining open, both hospitals are dedicated to a resilient, accessible healthcare future for all.

Dr. Abha Agrawal, President and CEO of Lawrence General, expressed gratitude for this transformative opportunity, thanking Massachusetts leaders for their support. Together, the two hospitals look forward to delivering innovative, compassionate care to Merrimack Valley residents for years to come.
