ELECTION RESULTS
We saw record turnout across the St. Louis region in the 2018 midterm election. The statewide vote to increase the gas tax was rejected by voters with 54% voting no. However, the REALTOR® Party had some big wins on election night. 94% of St. Louis REALTORS® Political Action Committee-supported candidates were successful. REALTOR® Reps. Jean Evens, Derek Grier, Tom Hannagan, and Becky Ruth all won reelection and will be returning to represent the REALTOR® Party in the State Legislature.

And last but not least, Crestwood REALTOR®, Grant Mabie, was successful in his bid for Mayor in a hotly competitive special election for the open seat.

Local elections are a great way for REALTORS® to serve their communities and build their network. The 2019 Spring municipal elections are right around the corner so if you, or someone you know, is considering running, please contact contact us at [email protected]
