The Lunar New Year kicked off at our Rego Park Senior Center February 5 when hundreds of people of all cultures made their way to our Annual Chinese New Year Celebration to honor the Year of the Rat.
Our Friendly Visiting Program, which pairs local volunteers with homebound older adults, recently expanded its service area to include Community Districts (CD) 9, 10, and 12. It will continue to provide services to residents in CD 4 and 6. Click here for more information.
Action of the Month: Help deliver hot meals to local seniors in Queens!
Our Home Delivered Meals program is looking for volunteers to assist our drivers with meal deliveries to home-bound seniors in Queens. Volunteers must be 18 or older, available during the week, committed and consistent, and have a flexible schedule.
