Reminder: Meeting Tomorrow

Garden Street Safety Improvement Project

Third Community Meeting

Opening photo light.jpeg

Tomorrow, August 9, at 6 p.m., the City of Cambridge Traffic, Parking and, Transportation Department will host its third community meeting on Zoom regarding safety improvements to Garden Street. This project will install separated bike lanes and make improvements to pedestrian crossings.

As requested by the community during the second community meeting, we have developed a third layout concept. This new option would convert Garden Street to one-way for vehicles from Huron Avenue towards Concord Avenue.

During the meeting, we will discuss the three layout concepts for the street and give you an opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback.

More details and a link to the Zoom webinar are available here.

If you are unable to attend the meeting, a full recording and all relevant materials will be posted to the project webpage after the meeting.

Sincerely,

Traffic, Parking and Transportation Department
