El Paso Small Business Spotlight

Every collection starts with a passion.

As Comic-Con International is celebrated this month, we're proud to spotlight Daniel Contreras, owner of Doc's Unique Collectables. What began as a lifelong passion for collecting became a family-friendly shop where collectors, hobbyists, and pop culture fans of all ages can discover something unique. Through BOSS and Buy El Paso, Daniel has connected with local resources to support his business as he continues sharing his passion with the El Paso community.

Be sure to visit Doc's Unique Collectables and follow them on Instagram to explore their latest collectibles and learn more about their store.

Every tattoo tells a story, and every small business has one too.

In recognition of National Tattoo Day, we're proud to spotlight Jose Alfredo Ortega, owner of Old Tradition Tattoo. For Jose, tattooing is more than putting ink on skin—it's about creating meaningful artwork that clients will carry with them for a lifetime. His passion for his craft and dedication to serving the Northeast El Paso community are what make local small businesses so special.

Be sure to visit Old Tradition Tattoo's Linktree to explore his work, connect on social media, and learn more about the studio.
