El Paso Small Business Spotlight

"When my wife and I founded Katsura, there were few options for Japanese food in El Paso. That’s why we wanted to offer our community unique, handmade rolls—like our Burmudez Roll—and dishes made with top-quality ingredients. We are deeply grateful for the support and resources provided by BOSS, as well as to our regular customers for helping us stay afloat during difficult times. We hope to open a second location in the future!"

This International Sushi Day, we’re excited to spotlight Katsura Sushi, a family-owned business that has been serving handcrafted sushi and authentic Japanese cuisine to the El Paso community for years. Through quality ingredients, creative menu offerings, and a passion for their craft, Katsura Sushi continues to create memorable dining experiences for customers across the city. Their story is a wonderful example of the dedication and resilience of El Paso’s small business owners.

As you celebrate International Sushi Day on June 18, consider supporting local and enjoying a meal at Katsura Sushi. Be sure to visit their Facebook and Instagram pages to learn more about their menu and see what makes them a favorite in our community.
