Member-to-Member Shout-Outs!

Shout Out "Richard Olson of OlsonDesign Jewelers is wonderful. I called him to ask when he would have time to fix my engagement ring. He fixed it the same day despite the fact that he was going on vacation in the next few days and a had a full backlog. He said he didn't want me to risk losing the stone from my ring. That's customer service!" ~ Davina Deurr, Deputy Mayor City of Bothell

"Shout out to the Practical Sparrow Cafe, located in Country Village, for their generous support of the Northshore Schools Foundation's Taste Of The Holiday wine event!" ~ Carmin Dalziel, Northshore Schools Foundation

Community Shout-Out From The Chief Elves At Bothell Tree Lighting Festival

"Thanks so much to everyone who made the second year of Bothell's Tree Lighting Festival a great success. The tree, named Lucky in a naming contest, was adorned in sparkly lights thanks to the City of Bothell's Lodging Tax Advisory Committee.  Thank you, too, to Community Transit, a season supporter.

Inglemoor and Bothell High School students from DECA, the Honor Society, Key Club and, likely, more volunteered with smiles and good cheer.  Manny Ocampo was our emcee who got the countdown going.  Thanks to the merchants, businesses, City, and community organizations that provided activities and treats that powered the event.  Finally, thanks to the behind-the-scenes volunteers who worked throughout the year to make it happen.  Let's do it again next year!"
~ Nancy Pipinich and Susan Gardner, Chief Elves
