We want to remind drivers that our young scholars are heading to school in the mornings now. That means little ones will be walking or waiting at bus stops in the early mornings and running to get home in the afternoons.
School zones are back! Deputies are out patrolling, but we need our neighbors to help do their part to keep our students and school staff safe. Slow down in school zones and near bus stops. Stay alert for children crossing streets or stepping off curbs. Obey crossing guards and stop for school buses. Put the phone down and keep your eyes on the road.
This also means golf carts will be active, and if you find yourself at The Hearth in the afternoons, it will be packed with waiting parents. Please be mindful of your neighbors in these areas while finding a shady place to wait for your little one(s).
